The Spell of Objects
Part of what makes life so rich is the silent beauty of what we call 'Inanimate objects'. In ancient Greece, it was commonplace for Artists, Sculptors and other makers to get caught in a frenzy of aesthetic intoxication. They would not be expected to speak or rationalise what was causing them such relative fever, it was understood that objects, all of which were entirely hand crafted, had their own intelligence and influence on a space.
Many of us understand this intuitively, children certainly do. One of the things I adore about jewellery is that people rarely intellectualise it. It simply speaks to us in its own bewitching language.
All over the world, entire cultures are built around this appreciation. India is the first place I bring to mind; a nation that has fused sensory experience with religion, devotion and celebration for millennia. Flowers blossom everywhere, their sight and fragrance an offering of generosity for anyone who passes by, and of course, the Gods and Goddesses.
In life, there is a joy of objects, and their arrangement that is so complete and so nourishing, yet we don't seem to have a name for it in the English language.
I am acutely influenced by the aesthetics of my environment, on every scale. This isn't about striving for perfection, but it is about feeling connected to where I am and what I wear. It's about noticing the subtleties of the colour of the paint, the fabric of the furnishings, the way the light pours in. The uniqueness of each kitchen tile.
Since the European Philosophical Enlightenment, we have culturally held intellectual accomplishment as superior to those of a sensory and aesthetic nature. Over time, this has lead to the belief that it is superficial to be spend time on the appearance of things, and that answers come from our mind. Answers come from relaxation, and relaxation comes from enjoyment. To thoroughly enjoy the objects around us is, I believe, to live a wealthy life.
I love the first things I see when I wake up to express this. My days start with an appreciation of the treasures around me, old and new, they inspire and delight me.
If you're reading this then I'm sure you're already in agreement about the importance of connection to beauty and aesthetics, an inner sense, rather than a sense of beauty that is externally dictated to us in terms of fluctuating fashions. A sense of beauty that is intimate and personal.
Jewellery brings me this same sense of wordless appreciation and magic, and somehow, although it's completely public, it's also our own private companion, right up against our soft skin.
I noticed that some of my treasured household items were not taking the centre stage that they deserved so today I've cleared some space around them, to let them shine, breathe, be seen.
Are there objects you could clear some clutter away from so their influence can be experienced in your home today?
Is there jewellery that you save for a special occasion that you could put on today, for the sheer reason of enjoyment?
Wishing you beauty and pleasure, every day.

A married woman actually planned to ruin my marriage and take my husband away from me and my kids. The whole saga began when my husband started acting weird and staying out late and sometimes doesn’t return back home. I did my findings and found out that an old friend of his, who is married was doing everything to break us. I did my best to end their closure but it wasn’t working. Dr Isikolo helped someone I knew and I got to know about him from my friend whom he helped. When I contacted him, he told me all I needed to know and all that was needed to be done to separate them. I complied and he fixed the problem and my husband is focused on me now and my kids now and assured me forever and never to let anyone come in between us. Just as I hoped for better results from Dr Isikolo and he delivered, he can help you too if you reach out to him for any kind of help. Review his page: https://isikolo-temple.com, or reach him on WhatsApp via text/call on +2348133261196
I still can’t believe what happened to me! For years, I struggled to win anything from the lottery until I came across Dr. Benjamin, a powerful spell caster. At first, I was skeptical, but after speaking with him, I decided to give it a try. Dr. Benjamin prepared a special spell and gave me the exact lottery numbers to play. I followed his instructions carefully, and to my greatest surprise, I hit the Powerball jackpot worth $340,000,000.00! My life has completely changed overnight — from financial struggles to total freedom. I can now take care of my family, help people in need, and live the kind of life I always dreamed of. Dr. Benjamin is truly a blessing, and I’ll forever be grateful for his amazing help. I promise not to ever stop telling people about the goods works you’ve done in my life.. As God would have it, I was able to fix my marriage and I am forever grateful because losing my wife was something I couldn’t bear. All this happened because Dr Isikolo was there to help me fix the problem. I was separated from my wife because of cheating issues that escalated and she was torn apart and left me and the kids. It was indeed rough for me in the months that went by handling the whole parenting thing alone. I contacted Dr Isikolo and he reconciled us back together and she returned back home to me and the kids. On my own I was unable to fix it and have her back until Dr Isikolo intervened and for this, I had to also come out here and tell others about his good works. He is assured never to fail you if you are serious about fixing whatever issues you are having with your partner. Review his page for further information on his good works: https://isikolo-temple.com or text him via WhatsApp +2348133261196

If i had known that there is a possibility of getting my dream man, i would not have wasted my time with a lot of men. I instantly fell deeply in love with my boss right from my first day at work and for over a year, it got deeper. He was very rich, humble and single. I tried all i could to make him look my way but all was in vain. 3 months ago, i found a comment of Ilekhojie and how he helps people navigate feeling and how best to express it. I reached out to him and explain my situation and how much i loved my boss and i also asked him to see further if he likes me. He performed supplications on my behalf, created a pathway for us to express how we feel about each other and within a few days, my boss asked me out on a date and fast forward to today, we are happy in love and he has been the best thing that has happened to me. All these were made possible with help of Ilekhojie. If you are like me, you do not have to let your feelings die when Ilekhojie can help you. My marriage with my husband was all blissful till the day he walked away and never returned. I was broken and helpless and so many loved ones came through for me to join forces with me to resolve the misunderstandings i had with him but nothing was effective. He left me and our boys and before i could get to know anything else about him, i was told he is presently with an Asian lady and i knew that i had to fight to win him back to us. I had to reach out to dr isikolo and he came right on time to help me fix the problems. I was made to understand the procedures on how everything i wanted will duly happen and i complied. Dr Isikolo was hastened to fix the problems in my marriage knowing my husband was about being taken wrongfully and just as he promised, the result of his works manifested and my husband got back home to us. I cant thank him enough for everything. You can contact Dr Isikolo on his page: https://isikolo-temple.com, or WhatsApp call or text on +234-8133261196

After months of separation, our marriage seemed beyond repair. We were both hurt, barely communicating, and already giving up. Through Ilekhojie’s guidance, we learned how to forgive and rebuild trust one step at a time. The practical reconciliation and encouragement helped us address the issues that had driven us apart for a long time instead of avoiding them. Today, we are living together again with renewed understanding and hope for our future. We are deeply grateful for the positive impact Ilekhojie had on our journey toward reconciliation. This experience reminded us that healing is possible when both partners are willing to work together with the right support. Call him +2348147400259 or Email: gethelp05@gmail.com to get urgent help
