The Spell of Objects
Part of what makes life so rich is the silent beauty of what we call 'Inanimate objects'. In ancient Greece, it was commonplace for Artists, Sculptors and other makers to get caught in a frenzy of aesthetic intoxication. They would not be expected to speak or rationalise what was causing them such relative fever, it was understood that objects, all of which were entirely hand crafted, had their own intelligence and influence on a space.
Many of us understand this intuitively, children certainly do. One of the things I adore about jewellery is that people rarely intellectualise it. It simply speaks to us in its own bewitching language.
All over the world, entire cultures are built around this appreciation. India is the first place I bring to mind; a nation that has fused sensory experience with religion, devotion and celebration for millennia. Flowers blossom everywhere, their sight and fragrance an offering of generosity for anyone who passes by, and of course, the Gods and Goddesses.
In life, there is a joy of objects, and their arrangement that is so complete and so nourishing, yet we don't seem to have a name for it in the English language.
I am acutely influenced by the aesthetics of my environment, on every scale. This isn't about striving for perfection, but it is about feeling connected to where I am and what I wear. It's about noticing the subtleties of the colour of the paint, the fabric of the furnishings, the way the light pours in. The uniqueness of each kitchen tile.
Since the European Philosophical Enlightenment, we have culturally held intellectual accomplishment as superior to those of a sensory and aesthetic nature. Over time, this has lead to the belief that it is superficial to be spend time on the appearance of things, and that answers come from our mind. Answers come from relaxation, and relaxation comes from enjoyment. To thoroughly enjoy the objects around us is, I believe, to live a wealthy life.
I love the first things I see when I wake up to express this. My days start with an appreciation of the treasures around me, old and new, they inspire and delight me.
If you're reading this then I'm sure you're already in agreement about the importance of connection to beauty and aesthetics, an inner sense, rather than a sense of beauty that is externally dictated to us in terms of fluctuating fashions. A sense of beauty that is intimate and personal.
Jewellery brings me this same sense of wordless appreciation and magic, and somehow, although it's completely public, it's also our own private companion, right up against our soft skin.
I noticed that some of my treasured household items were not taking the centre stage that they deserved so today I've cleared some space around them, to let them shine, breathe, be seen.
Are there objects you could clear some clutter away from so their influence can be experienced in your home today?
Is there jewellery that you save for a special occasion that you could put on today, for the sheer reason of enjoyment?
Wishing you beauty and pleasure, every day.

My name is Bocheng Mei. I am 26 years old, from Toronto working in the software industry. For years I used to think luck was a word meant for other people Not for someone like me. My life was a cycle of unpaid bills, late night shifts and the constant, heavy feeling that I was sinking every week, i;d spent my last coin on lottery tickets, praying for a door to open. but the doors stayed shut, My friends told me to give up. Winning the lottery seemed like a distant dream. But then everything changed, I heard about Dr marcus i didn’t just want numbers, i wanted a shift in my life. I reached out, and from our very first conversation he told me that my spiritual channels were blocked by years of doubt. He performed a special ritual for me, a spell designed to align my energy with the frequency of abundance. before casting the spell for the lottery. he gave me the numbers and told me ( the universe wants to give to you, but you must be ready to receive) i walked into the store to buy my ticket, i didn’t feel desperate i felt certain. I picked the numbers he gave me. I was shocked when I got a call from an unknown number, a representative from the Ontario lottery and gaming corporation that I have won $60,000,000. Because of this man Mr Marcus and the power of his work, my closed doors didn’t just open they were blown off their hinges. today my family is safe. my debts are gone. If you feel like your luck has run out, remember my story. There is a way to change your destiny, and for me, that way was Dr Marcus. After staying persistent and finally seeing the right numbers come up that dream became a reality. The experience has completely transformed daily life and opened up new opportunities for the future. It serves as a reminder of how quickly circumstances can change. Now look… I will be honest with you all. I really didn’t want to do this. I wanted to keep this secret to myself, but my conscience is nagging at me. I see some of you out there, I see that same look of struggle I used to have in my own eyes. It would be selfish of me to keep this miracle behind a locked door while you are still searching for a key. so for the sake of those who are truly desperate, those who are tired of losing, and those who need a real breakthrough… I’m dropping it. for those who are ready to change there storyline and looking forward to become a winner you can reach out to Dr Marcus on whatsapp +2348110492028 or find him at drmacusspellcaster@gmail.com

I still can’t believe this is real, but I actually won the lottery jackpot! It feels like a dream come true. For years, I would occasionally play without expecting much, just hoping that one day luck would finally be on my side—and it finally happened when I came across a testimony on how Dr HERRY the great spell caster had helped alot of people win, so I reached out to him, he told me what to do and I followed his instructions, after 24 hours he gave some numbers to play, I did played the numbers as instructed.
The moment I checked my numbers and realized they all matched, my heart started racing. I had to double-check multiple times because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I met my wife when I was working and living in Alaska. Ever since we got married, it has been all good till she decided to go for a summit in another state where she met someone who became closer to her and eventually he eloped with her. All my efforts to get back home to me was all in vain and her family did their best to reunite us but nothing worked. Just like everyone else, I came in contact with Dr Isikolo and he eventually did wonders and now my wife is back to me. It was revealed that she was hypnotized by the guy who eloped with her. I am glad I never let my emotions get the best of me to have ended my marriage with her. I want to share with you my testimony of how I joined this great organization of illuminate, really I was so poor and my life was almost to die and I tried many times to join illuminati but all was in vain whereby I was facing fake people who were claiming to be agents of illuminati. They ate my money without helping me out there. I lost hope in illuminati. But because i was very interested and focused on my dream, I continued trying there I meant an agent called Mr thomascox. from South Africa Cape Town but currently in Nigeria who told me he will help me out still i didn’t trusted him at all because of the first pain i passed through, still also asked me to send him money there i get scared but with time he sent me my membership i’d card there i proved it and trust in him little and i accepted and send him money, but what amazed me is that immediately after sending him money, within the 24 hours the temple headquarter sends me 3 million dollars directly on my account as my first benefit there i trusted him more and he is the only agent i trust because he helped me seriously. So my friend, if you want to join I am going to help you and connect you to that agent but you must be serious. I don’t have that authority of joining anyone who is serious. I will connect you to him. on WhatsApp +2349138177665 or email him (thomascox0038@gmail.com
