Talismanic Portal with Rubies and Sapphires

Regular price £220.00
Tax included.

One of a kind pendant combining pattern, texture, negative space with a pear shaped ruby as well as some laboratory made rubies (for the bright magenta hue), adorned with tassels of Akoya Keishi pearls from Japan.

Please note, the cast in place process is highly unpredictable and puts natural stones under tremendous heat and pressure. Casting them in place with the molten metal often leads to tiny fractures in the stones, which are noticeable under very close inspection in daylight but will not detract from the magic of the piece.

Supplied on an 18 inch chain, in pure recycled silver, with a warm 22 carat gold plating.

Ready to ship and completely unique.

These pendants are an inspired reminder that portals of perception and changing circumstance are constantly offering themselves to us. Thresholds to the unknown, to the freedom that exists within each heartbeat ~ should we choose to see the door of the unknown as expansive and alluring.

Doors, in their physical form have been an celebration of artfulness and craft for millennia. I’ve always adored antique doors from many different cultures, and have enjoyed their inviting symbolic presence as well as their craft and beauty.

Why reach for beauty?

When we encourage a more sensual intelligence, enjoying the forms we see, hear, touch, smell and taste, we feel the poetry of life as it is in real time. An appreciation for the raw, the unrefined and the mysterious springs from this sensuality.

My jewellery is absolutely stunning and I shall treasure it forever and a day. I adore your work and appreciate the ceremony and sacred essence that go into it.

I am in awe of the beauty of my jewellery. I wore it at the weekend and cannot put into words how I felt in it. It felt so precious to adorn myself with these sacred pieces, they feel so much like antiquity.
